Mob Mentality Episodes Released – World-wide Audience for Open Cinema - MoviePals Bulletin 02
Our ascent from the depths of obscurity to an iconic filmmaking movement is well underway and we’ve already achieved five major victories for Open Cinema, even faster than our initial intelligence predicted.

Our victories thus far:
- We've released the first collaborative episodes for the Mob Mentality Series, you can watch them now, get the source files, vote and participate from the Mob Mentality Show Page.
- Filmmakers from around the world are signing the Open Cinema Manifesto, from India, to London, from Los Angeles to Germany! We are being heard and this is only the beginning. If you haven’t signed it yet, read the manifesto and view the signatures on the front page of MoviePals.org.
- Solomon Rothman the CEO of MoviePals Entertainment is a panelist at 2 major events talking about Open Cinema: A debate on “Open Source Movies” at the Open World Forum, Oct 1, Paris, France and in March 2011 Panel “Open Source Movies” at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Music and Film Interactive Festival in Austin Texas. Both events are covered by mainstream press and represent a major leap in getting this idea off the ground.
- We’re constantly improving Moviepals.org and recently we've opened it up for all of you to create your own episodes or shows and manage them entirely online. Soon we’ll hold international meetings online in addition our in-person meet-ups to direct the efforts and help collaborators.
- We're developing and launching new commercial video opportunities and already have already posted a sponsorship package that includes a custom commercial made by the creative MoviePals team. The goal is to send out revenue payments for the first completed episodes as soon as possible.
In our last bulletin (if you missed it, its available online here), we said our revolution is set to begin. Now it's began and it's time for each of you to muster the will to participate, even if you can only spare a few minutes from behind the glow of your computer screen. From now on, every month we'll send out a new bulletin to keep you informed of our progress with information on the movement and how you can participate.
