Events
MoviePals is first and foremost about collaborative filmmaking. To that end we have frequent in-person events in which you can meet the MoviePals team as well as other professionals in the Los Angeles area, Mob member or not. Our events range from the purely social (Karaoke night) to more business oriented (Writing/production meetings or auditions) and in between (Screenings). These events are categorized by four production interest groups:
You can join any and all of the groups if you'd like to check us out. We'll be adding more events and locations as the company grows. Many of them (most frequently or auditions) have been livestreamed over the web.
For now, our most recurrent events are our monthly social meetings, which not only acclimate new and prospective members to the company, but provide updates on the progress of our productions and allow us get to know one another in a more casual environment. Our Socials occur on the last Sunday of each month, and the details may be found on each of the individual groups Meetup pages.
