Hey. Do you remember that episode of the Simpsons where Homer wants to become disabled so that he can work from home? Here's a quote that I found that is hilarious:

"Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? No. Lumber Lung? No. Jugglers despair? No. Achy-Breaky Pelvis? No. Oh, I'm never going to be disabled. I'm sick of being so healthy! Hey wait -- Hyper-Obesity . If you weigh more than 300 pounds, you qualify as disabled!" -- Homer Simpson, Simpsons -- Matt Groening

Wow. Do you think that they are using Carpal Tunnel in a list of fake work-related injuries leads people to not take Repetitive Strain Injuries seriously? Or do you think that they are implying that Carpal Tunnel as a real problem?

The answer to the question "What do the Simpsons, CNN, and the NY Times" have in common is that they all mention Carpal Tunnel. Carpal Tunnel is in the main stream. However, there are many other computer related injuries that aren't mentioned. Why do you think that is?
