White Noise 2 : The Light Review Nathan Fillion
I love Nathan Fillion. He was amazing in Buffy the Vampire slayer as the crazy priest Caleb who ended up being the main ‘big bad' of that season. He has been equally great in his appearance in Desperate Housewives recently and I've really enjoyed watching him on TV again. Sadly his talent was well and truly wasted in White Noise 2 : The Light when I watched it recently!

The original White Noise movie starring Michael Keaton was pretty good, it had some decent scares and the storyline was relatively believable if you are into the paranormal and believe in the whole White Noise theory (Capturing voices of the dead) but White Noise 2 had one of the most utterly ridiculous plotlines I've ever seen and quite possibly THE crappiest and most cheesy ending ever (You'll know what I mean if you've seen the film)
One of the movies only highlights for me was the fact that the guy from Eastenders/The Bill Craig Fairbrass was actually in it as one of the main characters he played the deformed guy who kills the mother and son at the beginning and he was surprisingly good. In fact, all the cast gave good performances; they were just let down by a shamefully weak plotline.
The special effects were good at times, I liked the way they showed the dead people, they were made to look really scary. The way they showed when someone was going to die by giving them a glowing aura wasn't bad either.
This is one movie that I would discourage people from wasting their time watching, even fans of the fantastic Nathan Fillion will be disappointed as even he failed to save the film. As usual however, a lot of people seem to disagree with me about the movie as it got an 80% score on RottenTomatoes.Com and I genuinely can't for the life of me see how! Perhaps if you were a fan of the movie you could tell me what you liked about it and what made it so good in your opinion. Maybe I'm missing something here!!
